The competition organizer has received entries of individuals and groups after one month launch. Specifically, 15 groups and teams have taken part in the competition to post clips and picture of before and after clearing garbage attached with hashtag #huegreen on personal Facebook to send back to the program Fanpage.
The first prize was given to Nang Chieu group with clip cleaning garbage in Thuy Van Commune in Huong Thuy Town. The clip has received 1,106 likes, comments, and shares with 20,196 audiences and 5,504 views in at least three minutes. The group captured VND10 million in the month.
Head of the institute Cung Trong Cuong said the launch of the program with the main activity – the competition – aims to respond to the campaign “Challenge for change”, a global viral sensation, inspiring youth to make a difference in their community.
The program launched from March 15 is open for all people regardless of age, race, or nationality. Participants just post pictures and clips of garbage clearing activities that they participate in on the program fanpage.
Any status having high comments and votes will be given prize monthly.
