All startup trainees of the fifth turn have spent over 150 hours working with 10 experts in 7 focused sessions and extra activities with VIISA during 12 weeks. They learnt how to form a suitable product to meet the market’s needs, to change their view on the current world in order to create the most valuable items to serve their customers, and to finish business contracts.
On the 5th Investment Day, these startup people confidently presented their business models to VIISA partners such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Payoo, or MoonLab Co-working space. They were able to attract much interest from these organizations and might receive a capital of up to USD200,000 from VIISA for the next round.
In the event, the round-table discussion ‘Startup Journey to Series A’ was held, welcoming the talk of Nguyen Khoi – CEO of WeFit, Lam Tran – CEO of Wisepass, and Nguyen Thanh Dat – CEO of TheBank.
Most startup companies successful in earning capital in the seeding round hope to continue receiving financial aid in the Series A round in the following 12 to 24 months to further develop. The three above enterprises were able to achieve that goal, all having an impressive growth last year. They, therefore, participated in the discussion to share their own successful story.
The event welcomed more than 100 investors, business groups, and certified startup supporters.
