The Lam Dong Museum in the highlands province of Lam Dong is holding an exhibition from April 3-9 highlighting Vietnam’s ownership of Truong Sa (Spratly) and Hoang Sa (Paracel) Archipelago in Dam Rong District.
The exhibition displays more than 100 ancient bibliographies and Vietnamese maps, maps of Southeast Asia, European maps of Vietnam and China, and vintage Chinese maps.
All maps and bibliographies validate that two archipelagos were historically a part of Vietnam.
An atlas published in 1914 showed that China’s southernmost border did not include Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.
