City sends VND3 billion to flood-hit victims in Binh Dinh Province

Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, on Thursday led a relief delegation to visit flood-hit victims in Binh Dinh Province and donated VND3 billion towards repair works and to assist local residents.

The relief delegation visited and gave VND500,000 and relief packages of essential items worth VND200,000 each to 200 households in An Nhon Town and Tuy Phuoc District in Binh Dinh Province. On this occasion, Mrs. Ha also visited and condoled Le Thi To Nga whose son was swept away and killed by flood waters and gave VND10 million as assistance.

Until now, the death toll in the recent floods in Binh Dinh Province has reached 19 people and material damage estimated at VND2 trillion.
