The Department of Education and Training (DOET) in Ho Chi Minh City has approved the “Integrated Program” in public primary schools, junior and senior high schools to implement the program.
As per the decision, 47 primary schools, 26 junior and 16 senior high schools are allowed to apply the program. For senior high school, the program will be applied in the academic year 2015-2016 and next years for junior high school students to continue studying the program.
In the second semester of the academic year 2014-2015, 18 primary schools and secondary schools have applied the program with the participation of 600 students.
People’s Committee in Ho Chi Minh City has approved the implementation of the “Integrated Program,” which has been developed from the UK National Curriculum and integrated with the Vietnamese curriculum in October, 2014.
