Attending at the event were National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Secretary of Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC's Commission for Mass Mobilization, Truong Thi Mai; Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, Nguyen Van Binh; Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, Thao Xuan Sung; and representatives of State agencies and departments.
The awardees have been successful in agricultural production and trading; applying advanced models of agricultural development or thinking of useful inventions for farming; building new countryside; and ensuring national defense and security.
The ceremony was co-organized by the Vietnam Farmers' Union; the Central Commission for Propaganda and Training, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry of Industry and Trade.
