This year’s event themed ‘Coconuts on the Way to Integration and Sustainable Development’ features a series of cultural, sport and tourism activities, such as exhibition on coconut, the Day of ba ba dress (traditional dress of southern women), a fair of coconut dishes and foods that use coconut as a primary ingredient, a pageant named Beauty of Ben Tre and among others.
The festival aims to honor coconut, one of the key agricultural products of Ben Tre; coconut growers and producers as well as introduce potentials and values of coconut tree to local and international investors.
