At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tan Phong introduced the history, organization and operation of Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper and presented its different editions, including Chinese-language website and newspaper.
He said that Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper usually consults with Xinhua’s reports and considers the Chinese news agency as an important source of international affairs news.
For his part, Xinhua President Cai Mingzhao affirmed Xinhua will continue to cooperate closely with Vietnamese newspapers, including the Vietnam News Agency, Nhan Dan and Sai Gon Giai Phong in the future.
