WorldTrans General Director Tran Tuong Huy said that Thailand is not only a familiar tourist destination but also a place for study and economic exchange of Vietnamese people generally and locals of the Mekong delta .
In 2016, over 900,000 Vietnamese people flew to Thailand and it is predicted the figure will increase to one million in 2017.
Accordingly, the direct flights aims to meet travel demand of people in the Mekong Delta region.
As per scheduled, to meet increased demand in summer, two-way flights from Can Tho City to Bankok will depart in June.
