The People's Committee of Ia H'Drai district in the central highlands province of Kontum started construction the water supply work yesterday at the district's center.
The work has its capacity of 2,500 m cubic per day with total investment capital of VND 1trillion.
It is expected to complete and put into operation soon to supply the water to 12,000 households in the center of the district and neighboring areas.
Ia H'Drai is new border district, which founded in March 2015. Currently, over 75 percent local households in the district are facing an extrme shortage of clean water as drought hits the central highlands' localities.
