VND 11bln offered Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund

The Western Australian Primary and High school (WAPS) on August 1 organized the 5th founding anniversary and awarded the 2015 Vu A Dinh scholarship.

Chairwoman of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, former vice president Truong My Hoa, professor Nguyen Vinh Hien –deputy minister of Training and Education and John MCAnulty – Australian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City attended the ceremony.

On this occasion, WAPS granted 48 scholarship worth VND 11billion to the fund and received three students in ethnic minority region for the academy 2015-2016 including Nguyen Tran Anh Luan who is living in Sinh Ton Island of Truong Sa district; Pham Huynh Duc, in the northern province of Nghe An; Ho Van Ke, in the central province of Quang Nam. Three students will be supported with the cost of school expenses including tuition in the school worth VND 3billion.

The fund has assisted ethnic minority students nationwide over the past 16 years.
