VN & Hungary deepen traditional friendly and cooperative ties

Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan yesterday had a meeting with Hungary's National Assembly Deputy Speaker Jakab Istvan during a visit to Hungary this week.

Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan yesterday had a meeting with Hungary's National Assembly Deputy Speaker Jakab Istvan during a visit to Hungary this week.

The visit aims to continue strengthening further the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two nations, including cooperation ties between Vietnam National Assembly and Hungary legislative agency.

At the reception, Ms. Kim Ngan stressed that the Vietnamese people always keep in mind the assistance of the Hungarian people to the struggle for national reunification and the country development.
 
On the occasion, the Vietnamese NA high- level delegation desired to strengthen cooperation ties between the two national assemblies for deepening the good relations.
 
Vietnam and Hungary established the diplomatic ties on February 3, 1950 and the two sides have maintained the traditional friendly and cooperative relations and achieved good results since the tie establishment.
 
A report issued last year said that Hungary had total 15 direct investment projects in Vietnam with total registered capital up to US$ 50.66 million, and ranked the 55th position among 105 countries and territories having direct investment capital resource in the country.
