Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Gaoli and leaders of Association of Southeast Asian Nations joined in the 13th China-ASEAN Expo(CAEXPO) and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) at Nanning International Expo Center in Guangxi province of China on September 11.

Accordingly, the Vietnamese PM, high- ranking delegation and enterprises took part in the 13th CAEXPO and CABIS as role of the honorary nation.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Gaoli, co- chaired the opening ceremony of this year’s event; and leaders of the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade and leaders of the Guangxi Autonomous region are responsible for the ceremony program’s coordinators.
CAEXPO 2016 covers 130, 000 square meters with 5,800 pavilions in six exhibition spaces of ASEAN- China nations, investment & cooperation, agricultural and new technological cooperation and trade services.
Vietnam contributed the largest number of pavilions among ASEAN countries in CAEXPO 2016 so far.
35 seminars and forums about cooperative relations between China and ASEAN in finance, investment, technological, tourism, provision and transport, and 72 relevant events on business and investment promotion are scheduled to be held during the CAEXPO 2016.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc shared: “This is the first year that Vietnam plays the role as the honorary nation of the fair; and the country is contributing over 250 exhibition pavilions”. The Vietnamese PM also introduced strategies for stable development of the country in the period of 2016- 2020, and expressed his country’s determination in actively international integration.
Until now, Vietnam joined 12 freedom trade agreements and is negotiating four other trade agreements, including Agreement on Regional Comprehensive Economy Partnership (RCEP).
Contributing as a dynamic member of ASEAN community, Vietnam always respects and supports ASEAN- China cooperation, and is ready to prove role as a bridge between ASEAN economy community and China.
Vietnam and ASEAN countries will continue strengthening economy and trade cooperation and maintaining peace and stabilization in the region.
