Within the framework of the United States President Barack Obama's official visit to Vietnam, Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Assembly (NA) Phung Quoc Hien paid a reception with members of U. S parliamentary delegation on May 23.
The members of U. S parliamentary delegation include Senator Tom Carper and Congressmen Joaquin Castro and Beto O’Rourke.
NA Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien highly appreciated the efforts by the U.S National Assembly, Senate and Lower House in the previous times.
The U.S Senator Tom Carper also introduced annual activities of the U.S National Assembly, Senate and Lower House.
