Vietnam brings its goods into Korean supermarkets

A program of introducing  Vietnamese best products was held  at all supermarkets of Republic of Korea’s retailer Lotte Mart in Vietnam on June 24.

A program of introducing  Vietnamese best products was held  at all supermarkets of Republic of Korea’s retailer Lotte Mart in Vietnam on June 24.

200 best products of 54 Vietnamese firms in agricultural products, seafood, textile and garments … have been displayed at the exhibition.

The exhibitions are a chance for Vietnamese enterprises to introduce their best products to 30 South Korean importers who are key suppliers of Lotte Mart.

The exhibition will run until June 28.

Currently, South Korea is Vietnam's third-largest trading partner and one of biggest foreign investors.

According to General Directorate of Customs, Vietnam exports goods and services to South Korean in 2014 amounted to US$ 7, 11 billion, increasing 7, 7 percent of the whole year turnover and imports goods and services from the northeast Asian country amounted to US$ 21, 74 billion.
