On the occasion of the 66th anniversary of Martyrs Day, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan visited and offered many gifts to 50 families under state benefits, Vietnamese heroic mothers, and wounded and sick soldiers in Cu Chi District of Ho Chi Minh City on July 21.
During the visit, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan said that people in Cu Chi District have faced many difficulties due to consequences of the last war, but now the district is recovering and developing and everyone is proud of their achievements.
Vice President Doan praised Ho Chi Minh City for carrying out policies supporting Vietnamese heroic mothers, soldiers and families of revolutionary martyrs.
On the same day, the Vice President burnt incense at the Ben Duoc Monument in Cu Chi district.
She also awarded the first class Labor Medal to the Vifon Company on the occasion
of the establishment of the company.
