Mr. Le Manh Hai, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and Ms. Vatchari Vimooktayon, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, held a high level delegation meeting on July 23 to discuss economic cooperation and investment in both Thailand and HCMC.
During the meeting, Ms. Vatchari Vimooktayon expressed hope that Vietnam and Thailand would further promote economic cooperation in Thailand and Ho Chi Minh City.
Currently, Thailand has invested in 108 projects in HCMC with total investment capital of US$155 million. HCMC hopes to attract more investment from Thailand in the near future.
