Providing help to incoming candidates are thousands of student volunteers who wait at bus and train stations to offer free or low priced rooms to the disadvantaged candidates. The student volunteers are also organising many free ice tea stations to serve candidates and their relatives.

In Can Tho City, 46,079 candidates will participate in the first phase of the University Entrance Exam. Leaders in Can Tho Province have mobilized more than 6,500 people including staff, teachers, students, doctors, police, and traffic inspectors to support incoming candidates.

Under the program ‘Give Strength in Exam Season’, 12,000 free or low-priced rooms and 6,000 free meals will be made available to candidates and their relatives.

On July 2, the HCMC Student Assistance Center, Vietnamese Student Development and Support Centre, and Joint Stock Company of Transportation and Travel Service also held an exchange meeting with 150 excellent candidates under the above program.

The candidates were poor students from 15 provinces of Vietnam who had done excellently in high school.
