The Southern Regional College of Construction in the Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long will be upgraded to University level, as decided by the government and the Prime Minister on September 6.
The college was founded 30 years ago. It has provided more than 10,000 personnel in the field of construction technology, more than 1,500 workers, about 50 architects and 850 construction engineers.
Henceforth the college will be known as the Southern Regional University of Construction.
Presently the college has a teaching faculty of more than 140 people and is fully equipped with a drafting room, a lab room, a computer room, laboratories and practice rooms for students.
