The Central Farmer Association, the Department of Propaganda and Training, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Nong thon ngay nay ( Present Countryside) newspaper announced the list of 63 outstanding farmers 2018 at a yesterday press brief.
The organizers said that jury council has selected 63 from 148 people from 63 cities and provinces. The honorable farmers are those who have greatly achieved in the Farmer Association’s movements of production; the government’s new rural plan and farmer participation in defense movement.
Speaking at the press brief, Vice Head of the Central Farmer Association Pham Tien Nam said all selected farmers are those who are not only dynamic and strong-will to make rich but also responsible for community.
