The central Quang Nam province yesterday held a solemn ceremony to grant the title of “Hero of the People's Armed Forces” to five people who had significant contributions during the national resistance war against American invaders.

They are Truong Van Muoi, Huynh Thi Xuan, Ly Cong Binh, Tran Chi Thanh and Dinh Van Minh.
The ceremony was held on the occasion of the 71st founding anniversary of the Vietnam Peoples Army (VPA).
At the ceremony, officers of the People's Armed Forces over the periods reviewed the military tradition of the nation in general and armed forces of Quang Nam province in particular.
