Mr. Vu No Denh, Chairman of Ky Son district’s Tay Son commune People’s Committee said aslo local authority is searching for Va A Kia, aged 10, who was missing on August 17 as Kia and his monther were on the way home and hit by landslide. His mother was injured while Kia was missing.
Chairman of Chien Luu commune said the number of missing people caused by floods in the commune was reported to be 2.
Landslides and the flooding occurred after heavy rains hit the northern mountainous communes of Nghe An such as Ky Son, Quy Chau and Quy Hop over the last days.
