The Party Inspection Committee of Kien Giang in the Mekong delta province will investigate a case of embezzlement of funds from the Fatherland Front.
The Fatherland Front has embezzled VND197 million from a fund meant for the poor and for flood victims and from the state budget as a temporary loan to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tuoi, Chief of the Fatherland Front.
Tuoi returned back a large part of the fund money, although she had borrowed it for five months.
