The organizers said that the competition attracted 1.5 million participants from 3,263 higher education institutions, the high senior schools, the vocational schools and the continuous education schools across over the country.
The competition is the first of its kind adopting man-made intelligence technology.
Ten students of the category 1 for senior high school students and ten students of the category 2 for higher education institutions with highest score in shortest time were selected for the final round.
In the final round, students had to compete with each other in multiple choice test in computers, answering questions in video situations and delivering a speech on a theme.
Le Hong Dang from the Ministry of Public Security’s Youth Communist Union won the first prize of the category 2 for higher education institution while Doan Tien Manh in the northern province of Quang Ninh earned the first prize of the category 1 for senior high school.
The first winners each received an award worth VND20 million ($858.6 ) and a scholarship for an English course worth VND15 million.
Additionally, two other students of each category were given the second prize; each received VND10 million in cash and VND15 scholarships for English course. Two third prize winners grabbed VND5 million and VND10 million scholarship.
The organizers also gave many encouragement prizes.
