Ho Chi Minh City Communist Union appraised and awarded 29 young medical workers to mark the 60th anniversary of Viet Nam Doctors' Day.
These good medical workers were awarded for their devotion in the healthcare mission, good ethics, and applicable scientific researches and good performance in working.
Addressing the prize-giving ceremony, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party, expressed her excitement over the young medical workers' endless efforts in treating patients. Ms Ha expected that young awardees will continue devoting to the healthcare profession to promote the city's health sector to improve patients' satisfaction.
As a part of activities to mark the special day, the Young Communist Union organized the program " Tuoi tre nganh y lam theo loi Bac" ( Young physicians follow Uncle Ho's teachings) such as young medical workers work for people's health in which provide free consultations of job-related advices to young workers and poor residents; young medical workers and city residents support inhabitants in border crossings to distribute medicines and treatment to residents in the disadvantaged southern province of Binh Phuoc.
