As plan, the delegation will participate in activities marking the 55th anniversary of establishment of Vietnam- Lao diplomatic ties and the 40th anniversary of signing Friendly & Cooperative Agreement between the two countries in Son La.
The welcome ceremony was solemnly held at Son La Convention Center yesterday.
After the ceremony, the Lao National Assembly Speaker worked with leaders of Son La province.
Earlier, the high- ranking delegation visited and laid a wreath at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh.
