A three storey house under construction suddenly collapsed on Saturday in An Thoi Dong Ward in Can Gio District of Ho Chi Minh City, injuring 11 out of the 16 workers at site.
The debris of the house fell into an adjacent pond. The 11 injured workers were rushed to hospital for emergency aid.
One of the workers was partially buried under the debris of a wall, which fell over the lower half of his body. It took nearly two hours for police and army officials to remove the debris to extract the worker.
