The Central Election Commission has reported that the 13th National Assembly and People’s Council elections at all levels for the 2011-2016 term ended successfully with over 99% voters casting their ballots.

The Election Council also reported that law and order was maintained during the elections on May 22.
Voting was the highest in Lai Chau, Ha Giang, Hoa Binh and Lang Son with 99.99%.
Most polling stations completed voting on schedule. However, some polling stations in Vinh Phuc, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Quang Binh, Hung Yen and Hai Phong closed by 10pm.
