Heavy rains continue to hit Central & East Southern region

Due to the impacts of low-pressure zone which weakened from typhoon Usagi, the provinces in the south part of the South Central and East Southern continue to experiencing  heavy rains with rainfall of 50 to 100mm.

The National Center for Hydro Meteorological Forecasting this morning said heavy rains continue to hitting the mentioned above region with rainfall of 30, 70 -100mm.

The center said tonight to November 27, the provinces from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa will face heavy rains with rainfall of 50 to 80mm; Thua Thien Hue, Danang, Phu Yen of 80 to 150mm; Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh of 100 to 200mm.

The flooding will appear on rivers from the provinces of Thua Thien Hue to Ninh Thuan and the East Southern provinces. Floods will peak at warning level 2, 3. Landslides, flash floods will hit the mountainous, low-lying areas.

The central provinces of Phu Yen & Binh Dinh are warned to be hit by flash floods, landslides as torrential rains continue to hitting these provinces.

In the next 3 hours, these areas will continue to experience heavy rains with rainfall of 30 to 60mm.

The mountainous and low-lying areas such as An Lao, Hoai An, Phu Cat, Phu My (Binh Dinh province); Dong Xuan, Son Hoa, Song Cau (Phu Yen Province) are forecast to suffer landslides, flash floods.
