Speaking at a ceremony to mark the move on April 28, Russian diplomats based in the city said the Market is a favorite not only with Russian tourists but also Vietnamese and Russian import-export enterprises.

The market, owned by Tong Linh Giang Jsc., measures 2,000 square meters, has three floors with 200 booths, and cost VND10 billion (US$561,800) to set up.

It sells mostly garments, fashion accessories, handicrafts, art products, and household goods.

It used to be in Saigon Square in District 1.
