HCMC needs 130,000 laborers in second half

For instance, the city needs around 70,000 people for the third quarter of the year and 60,000 for the fourth quarter. According to the center’s survey conducted in 10,000 enterprises in the city, they need more than 93,000 laborers and there are over 40,000 job seekers.

Businesses mainly recruited in fields like sales, customer care, service sector while textile and leather, electronics, telecommunication, accounting have seen a decrease in personnel recruitment.

Enterprises will continue to rebuild their personel structure with more demand of experienced and skilled managers and laborers. Laborers graduated from four year universities make up  16 percent of recruited employees and laborers graduated from three year colleges account for 13 percent.

Newly graduates account for 60 percent of job seekers with demand of salary around VND million 5-8 per month.

The ninth Job Exchange Floor will be organized this year on July 1 at 153 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, Binh Thanh District. The Job Exchange Floor attracted 58 businesses with demand for 2,302 workers. Of these, 43 companies recruited online via websites www.vieclamvietnam.gov.vn   and www.vieclamhcm.net.
