The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) said that frozen tuna export posted nearly US$14 million in October.
After a long time of stagnant tuna export, it has recovered. In the beginning of the year, export of Vietnamese tuna to EU was unstable yet lately, it has escalated.
Especially, in October, tuna export achieved nearly US$14 million, 92 percent up compared to last October, bringing total tuna export value in 10 months to US$87.9 percent , an increase of 4.9 percent compared to same period last year.
Currently, Vietnamese tuna products have been exported to 20 European countries including three major markets Italy, German and Belgium.
