Fisherman lands 1.8 m shark off Quy Nhon beach

In Quy Nhon in central Vietnam, where there have been shark attacks, a fisherman caught a 1.8-meter shark around four kilometers from shore on May 25.

Nguyen Van Vui, 48, and his colleagues later pulled it ashore.

Several fishermen and swimmers have been attacked by sharks off Quy Nhon beach.

After being informed about the shark catch, the Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography and Binh Dinh Province have installed a protective net against sharks 1-1.2 km out at sea.
