In the Nha Be Garment Company where thousands of laborers are working with income of VND5.5 million monthly, Mr. Tran Thanh Man on behalf of the front gifted 50 laborers each worth VND1 million ($43)
Additionally, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Kien Giang province also greeted 300 Vietnamese- Cambodian people, wishing them a wealthy and happy Tet Holiday. On the same day, the delegation presented 100 gifts to social welfare beneficiaries and and poverty-stricken households in Thanh Xuan Commune in Chau Thanh A District.
Mr. Man expressed his delight at the development of the heroic commune Thanh Xuan and People’s better living condition.
On the occasion, theVietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh Branch gave VND330 million and VND500 million to Hau Giang Province’s fund for the poor.
Later, Mr. Tran Thanh Man gave Tet gifts of the front to three families prioritized under the social welfare policies in Rach Goc Town of Ngoc Hien District in the Mekong delta province of Ca Mau as well as greeted soldiers in Rach Goc border guard station.
Moreover, in addition to 30 Tet gifts over to low-income households in Rach Goc Town, the delegation handed 500 Tet gifts each worth VND1 million over to Ca Mau authority to aid people in distant communes in the special holiday.
In Kien Giang Province, Chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front Le Thi Ve said that in these days, agencies and unions have organized many programs to take care of disadvantaged people and alone seniors citizens.
This year, the Fatherland Front in coordination with enterprises and benefactors brought warm Tet holidays with many gufts to thousands of households in remote corners in the country.
For instance, Kien Giang Construction Investment Corp provided 2,000 Tet gifts worth VND1 billion, Truong Hai Automobile offered 1,000 gifts worth VND500 million; Phu Quoc Express Boat sent 200 gifts worth VND100 million to poor people.
Vietnam Fatherland Front gifted 100 households totally worth VND130 million.
