Nguyen Trong Dam, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, presented gifts to orphans on December 21 and 22 in the Highland Province of Gia Lai.
The Deputy Minister distributed VND15 million in cash and many gifts to children on occasion of Christmas and upcoming Tet festive season.
The orphans are under the care of the Social Sponsor Center, SOS Children’s Village in Gia Lai Province.
The Social Sponsor Center is taking care of around 150 orphans and homeless elderly people. In addition to receiving support from the Government, the Center also receives donations from philanthropists.
