Da Nang Airport’s terminal to be completed in next 30 days

Being constructed in November 15, 2015, Da Nang Airport’s terminal is totally completed as per schedule; accordingly it will be put into operation in next month, said Le Khac Hong, director of the Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Company, when Da Nang Party Chief Nguyen Xuan Anh and Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Tuan paid a visit to check the construction’s progress on March 13.

Hong said the project includes international platform, electricity house, overpass and road system with a total investment of over VND3.5 trillion (US$154 million)

Upon its completion, the airport will be able to receive six million passengers per year and serve 1,600 passengers in peak hours.

Deputy Chairman Tuan said that Da Nang is selected to be venue for the High-level Week of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum;accordingly the construction of the terminal plays important role for the city’s & central's socio-economy development. He assigned the departments of transport, environment and natural resources, construction, foreign affair, police forces and land fund center to facilitate the construction progress.

Construction begins on Vietnam – China cross-border bridge
