Cuba wants to learn Vietnam’s experiences in attracting investment

State President Truong Tan Sang yesterday had a meeting with Secretary General of the  Workers' Central Union of Cuba  (CTC) Ulises Giularte de Nascimiento at President Palace, on the occasion of his visit in Vietnam.

State President Truong Tan Sang yesterday had a meeting with Secretary General of the  Workers' Central Union of Cuba  (CTC) Ulises Giularte de Nascimiento at President Palace, on the occasion of his visit in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Secretary General Ulises Giularte de Nascimiento informed contents of his meeting with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, and guidelines for development of labor unions, based upon the sixth Congress of Cuba Communist Party.

Recently, Cuba has issued investment policies and laws as well as built new industrial parks, sea ports.

On this visit, we want to learn and exchange additional experiences with Viet Nam in attracting investment as well as organizing labor union activities in industrial zones and non-state businesses,he said.

State President Truong Tan Sang also stressed that Vietnam wanted to share experiences with Cuba through organizing labor union activities in industrial zones and non-state businesses.

President requested Vietnam General Confederation of Labour to collaborate with the Workers' Central Union of Cuba to exchange clearly trade experience and choose the best ways in organizing activities to protecting laborers' benefits and Party-building work.
