City to invest US$32 mil in health sector

He made the announcement at a conference January 29, adding that 85 of the projects have registered capital in the first phase with a total capital of VND290 billion.

The two hospitals with the most registered capital are the Oncology Hospital with eight projects worth VND36 billion, and Tu Du Hospital with seven projects worth VND27 billion.

The health department Director Nguyen Van Chau said that the release rate of capital for the health sector was low, reaching just 80 percent in 2009.
