Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong yesterday met new Cambodian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Im Hen as he arrived in the city to take over new mission.
At the reception, the chairman congratulated Mr. Im Hen in post of Cambodian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City; and believed that Mr.Im Hen will continue boosting Vietnam- Cambodia friendship relations in general and between Ho Chi Minh City with localities of Cambodia in particular.
The leader also hoped that the two sides will closely collaborate in celebration of the 50th establishment anniversary of Vietnam- Cambodia diplomatic ties (June 24, 1967- 2017) with practical activities.
The consulate general desired that the city leaders will create favorable conditions during his working term; continuing supporting and sharing experiences with Cambodian medical staffs; and calling on more and more HCMC investors into his country.
