Back-to- back forest fire erupted in Xuan An town, Nghi Xuan District in Ha Tinh in early morning. Earlier, a wildland fire had been reported in Xuan Hong commune on Friday.
After receiving the information, more than 1,000 foresters, firefighters, polices and local people quickly attend in scene to control the fire and remove 80 fire- hit households and properties to safer places.
On the same day, the other huge forest fires hit some central provinces and cities of Da Nang, Phu Yen and Thua Thien- Hue.
Amid the severe weather condition, a risk of forest fire is warned to continue.
