This festival is a meaningful event to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Buon Ma Thuot Victory and the liberation of Dak Lak Province (March 10, 1975 –2025).
Additionally, the key event contributes to promoting the local coffee brand, and making Buon Ma Thuot to become the “Coffee City of the World”.

In his speech at the press conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Festival Organizing Board Nguyen Tuan Ha said that the event also aims to honor coffee growers, processors and businesses; show tourism potential and investment opportunities in the coffee and agricultural sectors; and promote the unique traditional culture of ethnic communities, especially, the Space of Gong Culture in the Central Highlands recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as the Oral and Intangible Cultural Masterpiece of Humanity.
The ninth Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival will feature several new highlights, including a digital content creation contest to promote the festival on digital platforms, a groundbreaking ceremony for Trung Nguyen Legend Energy Coffee Factory, a coffee camp “Companion and Share” at the CADA historical and cultural site in Krong Pac District and others.
