The HCMC Youth Communist Union in collaboration with the departments of Information and Communications; Science and Technology; Education and Training, and Ho Chi Minh City Television yesterday held a ceremony to award the 24th Ho Chi Minh Young Informatics Contest.
The organizationl board awarded 36 prizes for the best individuals and groups in this year’s contest, including four- first prizes, nine- second prizes, five- third prizes and 18 consolation prizes.
Accordingly, the four- first prizes went to Nguyen Quang Hung from Phan Dinh Phung Primary School, Pham Viet An from Nang Khieu High school of National University in HCMC, Lo Nguyen Tuan Khiem from Dong Khoi Secondary School and a student group from Ho Chi Minh City University of Science.
The contest was considered as an advantaged opportunity to help students improve informatics knowledge in their study.
