Vietnam Airlines (VNA) said on August 9 that the first flight VN 9052 taking 186 workers including 184 Vietnamese and two Korean workers in Libya home started from Cairo Airport at 19:00 (VN).
They are working at a housing project of Hyundai Engineering in the eastern city of Al-Beyda, Libya.
The flight VN 9052 is scheduled to arrive in Noi Bai International Airport, Ha Noi at 12:50 on August 10.
Earlier, Vietnamese Airlines delegation arrived in Cairo on August 8, aiming to work to labor management companies, Egypt Airlines Association and check security and health activities.
VNA said that two more flights will continue to leave Cairo International Airport.
