VN & UK strengthen mutual cooperation

Vietnamese Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Xuan Phuc yesterday welcomed Britain's Secretary of State for International Trade and the Northern Ireland Liam Fox at Governmental headquarters on the occasion of his visit to Vietnam.

At the reception, the Vietnamese PM desired that the Government of the United Kingdom will continue supporting Vietnam in training high- quality human resource; developing English teachers' skill , and creating favorable conditions for overseas  Vietnamese students.

The two sides need to continue developing further the educational models, added PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

For commercial cooperation, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc hoped that two- way trade turnover of two nations will double by 2020 compared to current trade turnover of US$ 5.6 billion.

Vietnamese government will create best conditions for the Britain investors and enterprises. The Vietnamese leader believed that cooperation ties of economy, investment, security and defense between the two countries will also get more achievements after this visit.
