Vn Red Cross donates to Japan’s earthquake victims

The Vietnamese Red Cross (VRC) donated US$ 7.7 million for Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims, to Koichi Aiboshi, diplomat at the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, at a ceremony in Hanoi on June 20.

The Vietnamese Red Cross (VRC) donated US$ 7.7 million for Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims, to Koichi Aiboshi, diplomat at the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, at a ceremony in Hanoi on June 20.
 
The aid money raised between March 16 and June 10 has been transferred to Japan in both cash and kind.

Aiboshi expressed his gratitude at the timely and effective aid by the Vietnamese people, especially the shipments of essential goods to Japanese victims living in shelters. He believed that the valuable assistance of Vietnam showed the good relationship between the two countries.
