Vietnamese Film Festival will take place at CGV Yeouido cinema, Seoul city, Korea on April 16-19.
The event is co-organized by the Vietnam Embassy in Korea; the Department of Film Vietnam under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; CJ CGV - the largest multiplex cinema chain in South Korea; and CJ E&M Pictures - Korea's leading entertainment company.
The film fest themed “Asian Film’s Rising Star” will present to Korean audience Vietnamese movies including Thien menh anh hung (Blood Letter); Bi mat tham do (Scandal), Ao lua Ha Dong (The White Silk Dress), Choi voi (Adrift ) and Am muu giay got nhon (How to fight in six inch heels).
Korea actor Yeo Jin-goo and Vietnamese actress Van Trang have been selected as ambassadors of film festival.
