A clip on social network showing local residents to hang trash bags from the side of a train raised anger amongst viewers. Local administration identified couple Nguyen Thi H, sellers poultry in Son market who were caught in the clip.
Mrs. H said these bags of trash were not produced by them but sellers around their kiosk; the couple hanged on the side of a stopped train at the local station to prevent pollution.
Local administration imposed administrative fine on her while her husband received warning.

Before, on November 20, a two and a half minute video clip was uploaded to Facebook with the caption “Rubbish from Huong Khe to Saigon” in which some residents in Huong Khe Town are seen hanging bags of trash from the side of a stopped train at the local station. This caused anger amongst viewers.
Railway official said the act is very dangerous for these people and causes preading diseases; accordingly, the railway will liaise with local station and government upon the matter.
