The V-League 2008 once again saw its twelve strong competitors competing in the third round for more points to boost their overall ranking position.
The Southern-Steel Saigon Port (SSSP) suddenly did a good performance and stole three points from their redoubtable opponent Becamex Binh Duong. The only score was made at the 80th minute thanks to a free kick from foreign player Martins Trindade.
Currently, SSSP tops the V-League 2008 Ranking.
The Thanh Hoa Ground only saw a boring match between Halida Thanh Hoa (HTH) and Pijico Song Lam Nghe An (PSLNA).
PSLNA performed so bad during 90 minutes at the match and suffered two losses to HTH.
A 2-0 victory of Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) over Ha Noi ACB on the Pleiku Ground saw much credit from their foreign players.
Then, the Dong Tam Long An (DTLA)’s golden man, Antonio, deserves credit for bringing a final 3-1 victory to his team.
Another match saw Khataco Khanh Hoa (KKH) helpless in gaining a point against Hai Phong Cement (HPC) on Nha Trang field.
At the 89th minute, HPC’s De Jesus did a good pass through a KKH’s defender and quickly fired a speedy shot to bring three points to his team.
