Radio the Voice of Vietnam, the National Committee for International Economic Co-operation, and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations announced two new economic awards for 2009 at a press conference held January 12.
The “reputable foreign economic trademark” and the “outstanding foreign economist” awards honor individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the development of the country’s economy.
The organizers have decided to give the former prize to 62 organizations and the latter to 34 individuals for 2009.
The awards ceremony will be held January 23 at the VOV Theater in Hanoi.
