The dead bodies of 75-year-old Tran The Phong from Khanh Hoa province and 61-year-old Ly Thi Thanh Thuy from Binh Duong province have been taken ashore while 30-year-old Nguyen Van Tram, who is son of Ms. Thuy, is still missing.
According to initial information, the three victims joined a group of relatives from HCMC and Nha Trang city hiring the boat of a man in Ninh Tho hamlet to travel to Diep Son island in the bay for pleasure on June 15.
At 2pm on the same day, on its way back to the mainland the boat capsized. Fortunately, nearby fishing boats rescued 12.
